curved street café
At Curved Street Café we have tried to use Irish food produce where possible, supporting small Irish producers.
Our cakes are freshly baked at The Cake Café and very, very tasty!
The Salami for our sandwiches comes from Gubeen in West Cork, where the pigs
are fed the whey that is left over from their cheese making.
All the cheeses used on the menu are from small Irish farm house producers.
Our coffee is ethically sourced and fully tracable. It is imported and
roasted by Michael from Ariosa. He blends his coffee every week and delivers to
us the next day, so it is always full of flavour.
During the Irish growing season, our salad leaves are grown by Jenny McNally,
who has a stall in the Temple Bar Market. She also makes our delicious jam.
We use environmentally friendly cleaning products, recycled napkins,
bio-degradable plastic bags and we recycle everything we can.
Curved Street Café also has free wi-fi internet access.
So why not pop by the Curved Street Café on the first floor of Filmbase for
great value lunch specials, excellent coffee or delicious homemade lemonade.

The Blackboard Project at the Curved Street Café
Blackboard is a site specific art project in Curved Street Café. Every six
weeks the giant blackboard in the first floor atrium of the Curved Street Café
is chalked upon by a different artist, becoming a site-specific palimpsest of
chalk-works.
