baking classes

We start our baking class by teaching you how to make yeast bread, then we move on to pastry before we bake a selection of sweet treats.  The classes are demonstration based and take place in the cafe kitchen.

Places are limited to about eight, so please call the cafe on 01 4789394 to secure a place or email thecakecafe@gmail.com.

€55.00 for a one off class - vouchers are available.

You get to take home a Cake Cafe goody bag filled with the treats you baked.

private cookery classes

The cafe is available for hire for private cookery classes on Saturday Nights for up to 12 people

We would genarally start the cookery class at 6.30pm and cook until 8.00pm and then eat from 8.00pm until 9.30pm.

The Cake Cafe is located in a residential building so we have to finish by 9.30. (There are lots of good pubs in the area if you want to head out after.)

If you would just like to book the Cake Cafe for a private function just get in touch. We can seat up to 22 comfortably and provide food and wine.

wine classes

 Our wine classes costs 34.50 and includes a tapas plate of meats, cheeses and breads

 

 

We need to take a credit card number to hold a place on any of our classes.

If you need to cancel three days before I am afraid we have to take 50% of the price.  If you cancel on the day I am afraid we will need to take to whole amount.
